Relaxed enjoyment in the middle of the nature of Oisterwijk

The KampinaStaete holiday park, which was established in 2020, is located deep in the woods of Oisterwijk. A small-scale holiday park, where the focus is on the surrounding nature and having a good conversation / a pleasant time with your loved ones. Owners Charlotte and Heinze find the latter in particular an important pillar of their vision; you will not find televisions in the various tastefully furnished accommodations.

There are currently 3 different types of accommodations at the park. Cozy Cottages for 2 persons, which resemble fairytale hikers' cabins. The more spacious Lodges for 2 adults and 2 to 3 children have a more traditional appearance. Finally, this summer The Diamond Suites were added to the park. These Tiny Houses are suitable for 2 people and owe their name to the typical diamond shape. All types of accommodations at the KampinaStaete are fully equipped, with a kitchen, heating and air conditioning.

Challenge

In order to guarantee fire safety in the various accommodations at De Kampinastaete, we were approached to offer a suitable solution. Given the limited space for movement, the compact size of the extinguisher is important. The environmental impact should also be kept to a minimum if the extinguisher is used. So no harmful PFAS / fluorine in soil and groundwater.

Approach; Compact F3 foam extinguishers

After an inventory by our advisor Jeroen, a projection was made for a total of 22 extinguishers. These foam extinguishers contain F3 PFAS-free foam, which was developed in collaboration with TNO. This extinguishing foam is completely fluorine-free, without making concessions to the extinguishing capacity, on solids, liquids and grease fires.

Result

All accommodations, including the reception, are equipped with fire extinguishers. These extinguishers are also maintained in accordance with NEN 2559, so you can always assume that the fire extinguisher will work when you really need it.
