Saval and burns care

Children with burns have suffered a major trauma. The shock of the accident is often followed by prolonged, painful treatment. And once the wounds have healed, they usually leave visible scars behind. Hospitals and burns centres provide optimum medical care. But outside the hospital, more needs to be done before these children are themselves again. Saval wants to help ensure that the scars from the fire are not more than skin-deep. Saval's support has contributed to the construction of Europe's most child-friendly bandage changing facility at the Martini Hospital in Groningen.
