J-connection 3"

Every building higher than 20 meters must have a dry riser, with its own supply connection on the ground floor and connection points on each floor.

The J-connection is a Storz supply connection with a cam distance of 81 mm, metal seal and a screw cover with triangular key cam and chain. This connection (according to NEN 3374) has 3" external thread and is connected to the beginning of the dry riser pipe with the help of a socket or bend. In the case of emergencies, the fire brigade can connect the water supply directly to the J-connection, in order to provide all connecting points of the dry riser with water pressure.

The J-connection is available in brass and aluminum.
