S-CAPEPOD

The S-CAPEPOD is a super-fast tool to evacuate bed-ridden persons in a very simple way in case of calamities. The S-CAPEPOD is located permanently between the frame of the bed and the mattress. When an evacuation has to take place, an aid worker can pull the three flaps from underneath the mattress. Subsequently, the bedridden person can be wrapped up as a cocoon. The flaps are attached to each other with extremely strong Velcro. This all takes place about 30 seconds. With the pull strap at the foot end of the bed, the person can be dragged from the bed and taken to a safe environment.

An independent study by the University of Ghent, shows that the S-CAPEPOD is the fastest and easiest evacuation sheet.
